HOUSTON – Four people were taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after being struck by lightning in southwest Houston, according to authorities.
It happened at around 3:44 p.m. in the 5400 block of Imogene at Renwick, just west of the Meyerland area. The home appeared to be undergoing foundation work.
Three people were listed in stable condition, but one person was critically injured.
No further details were immediately available.
