Robber fires shot at Shell gas station employee, police say

HOUSTON – Police are asking for help in identifying four people wanted in a robbery that happened at a gas station in April.

It happened just before 2:30 a.m. April 30 at the Shell gas station at 4904 Airline Drive in Houston.

Police said three armed people entered the gas station as a fourth person held the door open and served as a look-out. The other three people demanded money.

One of the robbers pointed his weapon at an employee and fired a shot, police said. The round struck the employee's pant leg, but he was not hurt.

The robbers then fled the scene on foot.
