BELLAIRE, Texas – A bank employee was assaulted during a robbery on Monday afternoon, investigators said.
Bellaire police said four masked, armed men held up the BBVA Compass Bank in the 5300 block of Bellaire Boulevard about 1:30 p.m.
The robbers hit a female employee on the head, officials said. Her injuries were not life-threatening.
Police said the men left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. They were last seen traveling south from the bank in an older-model, tan Ford Explorer.
Detailed descriptions of the robbers have not been released.
