HOUSTON – A man died Sunday night after being struck by a METRO Light Rail train near downtown Houston.
According to METRO police, the man was attempting to cross Main Street at McGowen when he was hit by an oncoming train.

Police believe the man was walking to his car from a nearby club when the accident happened.
The victim died at the scene. It is not known if he had been drinking.
