4 arrested in driveway robbery

HOUSTON – Four teenagers have been accused of robbing two people at gunpoint in a northwest Harris County driveway.

Antoinette Carlton, 19, Christopher Cigar, 18, Aundre Holmes, 18, and Detorrian Holmes, 17, have been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constable said the teens approached two people who were working on a car in a driveway in the 4400 block of Brookhead Trail near on Monday.

The teens, who were armed with guns, demanded cash from the victims, investigators said. They only got away with $15, deputy constables said.

The victims were able to get the license plate number of the car the teens used to flee, detectives said. A deputy constable spotted the car a short time later and the teens tried to flee. The three male suspects were quickly apprehended but Carlton got away. She was arrested on Tuesday.

"We found guns, some of the bandanas they used to put on their face," Assistant Chief Deputy Mark Herman said. "The tools of the crime, so to speak."

Investigators said the four are suspects in at least two similar robberies.

Aundre and Detorrian Holmes were released from jail after posting $30,000 bond each. Carlton and Cigar are being held in the Harris County Jail with bond set at $30,000 each.

Cigar has a previous criminal history. He has been convicted of trespassing and evading arrest.
