Houston police said an officer saw a Nissan Xterra that fit the description of a vehicle that was used in two robberies in the Greenspoint area in the last 24 hours.

The license plate also came up as stolen, so the officer tried to stop the vehicle at N. Victory and Knox, but the SUV took off and led police on a short chase.

The driver eventually pulled into a driveway and all four suspects, two men and two women, jumped out and started running. The driver did not put the car in park, so the SUV crashed into the front porch of the one-story home.

Houston police were able to track down all four suspects. They were all taken into custody.

No one was injured during the incident.
