Charges have been filed against a third suspect in last month’s murder of a Houston man.
The shooting occurred in the 12400 block of Tambourine Drive.
Police said 18-year-old Gerardo Arredondo is charged with capital murder for his role in the death of Jhon Bermudez-Gilces. Arrendondo was taken into custody on October 4.
Houston police said Bermudez-Gilces was found lying in the grass between two residences around 10 a.m. on September 1.
Officials said the victim was shot multiple times and died at the scene.
Osmin Enrique Hernandez, 34, and 21-year-old Mario Ernesto Paredes are also in custody and charged with murder for their roles in killing Bermudez-Gilces. They were both the leading suspects in the case and were arrested on September 13.
