HOUSTON -- A Pasadena man opened the front door of his home Friday morning only to be shot to death, investigators told News2Houston.
Police said an argument turned deadly at a home in the 600 block of Live Oak near Main Street around 3 a.m.
Investigators said someone knocked on the home's front door and when a man inside opened it, the resident and the man outside became involved in an argument.
The man at the door ended up firing a gun, killing the Pasadena resident, investigators told News2Houston.
Police said two other men and a woman were home at the time of the shooting but were not harmed.
Authorities are now searching for the shooter. They said they are not sure what relationship the two men had.
The motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
