Man Shoots Self In Northwest Houston Mall

Victim Shot In Chest

A Houston man was in critical condition Wednesday after he shot himself in a northwest Houston mall, police told News2Houston. Willowbrook Mall

Police said the man owned a store in Willowbrook Mall, Highway 249 at FM 1960.

When he did not answer the phone, his family became concerned. When they arrived at the store around 11:30 a.m., they discovered the unidentified man had shot himself once in the chest.

LifeFlight Helicopter took the 55-year-old man to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

The victim's identity and the store were not released.

The man was having financial problems, according to authorities.
