HOUSTON -- Racing down a southwest Houston street turned deadly Tuesday night, police told News2Houston.
Officers said two vehicles were racing around 9 p.m. on Harwin at Rogerdale when the driver of a red Honda lost control. His vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, crashed and landed on top of a Chevrolet Suburban, police said.
The driver of the red Honda and a passenger in the Suburban died at the scene.
Two passengers in the Honda and the driver of the Suburban were transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Investigators said the drivers of the two cars that were racing were brothers.
The brother of the man who was allegedly racing came back to the scene and was given a Breathalyzer test.
Charges are pending.
