The obvious two states are Texas and Louisiana, but there are more. Illinois and Indiana got flooding from Ike. Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania received substantial wind damage from hurricane-force winds. Ike was the second costliest hurricane to hit the United States only behind Katrina with $29.5 billion in losses. I know a lot of us remember how long we were without power. It's wasn't just us: Louisville, Kentucky had their worst power outage ever recorded with 300,000 in the dark. Parts of Ohio didn't have power for seven days. It was the worst power outage in Arkansas since an ice storm in 2000.
