Authorities are investigating whether alcohol played a role in a crash that left three women injured in Humble.
Officials said around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, three women were in a car traveling west on FM 1960 when they attempted to turn left onto 1st Street and were hit by a pickup truck.
Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating which vehicle ran the red light.
The passenger sitting in the backseat of the car was transported by Life Flight in critical condition to a Houston hospital. The other two women were transported by ambulance to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.
The man driving the pickup was not injured.
Deputies believe alcohol factored in the crash on the part of the three women.
