Three men are wanted in connection with the burglary of a La Porte convenience store.

La Porte police said the men broke into a Valero convenience store in the 1400 block of Sens Road about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Detectives said the front door glass was broken after the men tried to pry off burglar bars with crowbars.

The men stole about $2,400 worth of cigarettes, police said.

The men tried to get into a floor safe, but they were not successful, detectives said. A locked office was also pried open, investigators said.

Investigators said the men wore masks, so they do not have detailed descriptions of them.
