3 traffic incidents close parts of Katy Freeway
Several lanes of the Katy Freeway were shut down Friday because of three separate traffic.
Waller County sheriff's deputies said an 18-wheeler rolled over in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near F.M. 359. A fire was also reported in that area, but it is not related to the rollover.
A five-car collision happened a short distance away but in the eastbound lanes. That wreck cleared by 5:20 p.m.
There was a 18-wheeler fire on Interstate 10 near Peach Ridge.
Several ambulances and Life Flight were called out to the scenes. Life Flight officials said two people were transported via helicopter.
Officials have not said how many people were injured.
The causes of the wrecks are under investigation.
