Authorities have identified the three teens they believe are responsible for setting off as many as 24 acid bombs.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that deputies were searching for the teens responsible for setting off acid bombs in The Woodlands throughout neighborhoods near FM 2978 and Woodlands Parkway.
On Thursday, officials said numerous tips were called in to the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office and Crime Stoppers tip line. Arson investigators were able to identify three teenage boys who were involved in making and throwing as many as two dozen devices.
Authorities said all three teens have been referred to the Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Center.
Investigators are still trying to determine of any others were involved.
