HOUSTON -

Three men had to be hospitalized after a bar fight escalated to a shooting on Sunday.

Around 2 a.m., police said the victims got into a heated argument with a fourth man at the Carrington's Sports Bar on South Main Street.

According to reports, the suspect left the bar and walked to his car. When the men he had been fighting with came outside, the suspect pulled out a gun and started shooting, investigators said.

Two of the victims were taken to the hospital in serious condition; the third was transported in stable condition.

At the time of the shooting, around eight Harris County Deputies were working security at the bar, and detectives said when they heard the shots, they ran over and caught the suspect.

The gun was also recovered at the scene.

The names of the suspect and the victims were not immediately released.
