3 killed, 2 hurt in crash

Police believe drunk driving is to blame

HOUSTON – Drunk driving was blamed for a crash that killed three men in northwest Houston.

Houston Police said four men in a green Mercury Mountaineer drove through a stop sign and hit a Nissan Quest head-on Saturday at 4:20 a.m. at 12200 North Houston Rosslyn Road. The Mountaineer's driver and two passengers died at the scene. A third passenger and the female driver of the Nissan were taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.

The victims' names were not released. They were all in their 20s.
