HOUSTON -

For the second time in 24 hours, several suspects burglarized a northwest Houston grocery store on Saturday.

Around 3:30 a.m., police said two men pried open the front doors of the Foodarama Grocery Store in the 7000 block of Antoine.  According to reports, once inside the store they busted open the cigarette counter and stole a bunch of packs.

Afterward, police said they walked over to the cell phone counter and took several phones.

When they tried to take off, police said they kept dropping the cigarette packs throughout the store and outside near a fence in the back.

The manager of the store told officers the store keeps all the carton cigarettes locked up in the back, so the suspects weren't able to find them.

Police said the burglary could be connected to another Foodarama burglary that happened Friday morning at a store on Ella.  In that case, the crooks also got away with cigarette packs.

Officers also said they are reviewing surveillance video from the scene in the hopes of tracking down the duo responsible.
