Teen Hit By Car Fights For Life

Driver Not Ticketed For Hitting Teenager

HOUSTON -- A teenager fought for his life Tuesday night after he was struck by a car at a northeast Houston intersection.

Police said a driver pass through a green light at the intersection of Maxey and Woodforest around 6:30 p.m. and hit a teen who ran into the street.

The boy was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital. He was listed in critical condition.

Officials did not ticket the driver.
