HOUSTON -- A southwest Houston flower shop caught fire Tuesday afternoon, News2Houston reported.
The blaze broke out around 3:45 p.m. at the "Lily And" flower shop, 2033 Fairview.
The business, which was located in a house, was quickly engulfed in flames, officials said. Flames could be seen for miles shooting from the roof, which later collapsed.
The blaze was contained to the building and did not spread.
The building was destroyed.
Approximately 26 firefighters responded to the scene. Officials said materials inside the business made it difficult to extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured.
