HOUSTON -

Houston police began investigating Friday morning after a man was shot and killed in his friend's driveway in Kingwood.

Investigators said the 23-year-old victim was staying at his friend's house. The friend's brother and mother also live in the home.

The victim reportedly parked in front of the home Thursday night and was walking up the driveway when someone fired a shot.

According to officers, the man managed to stumble through the front door of the house on Garden Village Drive near Creek Manor Drive before he collapsed.

Police took at least one of the other boys in for questioning.

Homicide detectives are still trying to determine a motive for the crime.

The victim's identity is pending notificiation to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
