Police Release Sketches Of Unidentified Man
The man's decomposed body was found in Buffalo Bayou on Dec. 1, 2001, near the 6700 block of Avenue W.
A tugboat crew escorting a barge in the bayou discovered the body.
It is not known how long the man was in the water before he was found.
The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office said the man died of natural causes from a heart attack.
A forensic anthropologist artist made the sketches based on analysis of the man's skull.
The man, believed to be white or Hispanic and between 35 and 50 years old, did not have identification on him.
He had a tattoo of a woman on his upper left arm and was wearing a necklace, which consisted of yellow beads with a metal plate that had the words, "Trust God."
