MISSOURI CITY, Texas -- A teenager has been accused of pointing a fake gun at a school bus driver, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Fort Bend Independent School District officials said the teen pointed the fake gun at the driver parked at the Kroger store near Independence Boulevard at about 8 a.m. Thursday
The 14-year-old and two other students tried to get onto the bus. The driver refused to let them board, officials said.
A parent picked up the students and took the students to Garcia Middle School. The parent told investigators that she picked up the students since they weren't allowed on the bus, but didn't know about the toy gun incident.
Fort Bend ISD officers searched the parent's car and found the toy gun.
The student has been charged with class A misdemeanor assault.
