HOUSTON -- A man is wanted in connection with two robberies in the east Harris County area, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said a man walked into the Cartex Auto Sound Store in the 7600 block of Normandy Street about 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 22.
He pulled out a gun and demanded cash, officials said.
Investigators said another man may have accompanied and fled with him in a maroon Buick.
The same man robbed the EZ Loan Store in the 12500 block of Woodforest Boulevard about 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 8, detectives said.
The man pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the register and safe, investigators said.
Detectives said several customers walked into the store, not knowing that it was being robbed. The man forced them to sit chairs until he was done, officials said.
He got away on foot, officials said.
The man was described as black, 18 to 25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and 165 to 170 pounds. He wore a dark jacket with fur around the hood during each robbery, investigators said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
