HPD: Husband Apparently Beat Wife To Death

HOUSTON -- A woman was found dead in a motel room on Tuesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Houston police were called out to the Ship Channel Motel in the 8300 block of La Porte Road about 7 a.m.

Investigators said the woman, whose name was not released, appeared to have been beaten to death by her husband.

Police have not said if the husband, whose name was not released, was arrested or charged.
