HOUSTON -- A person was hit by a train in northwest Harris County on Tuesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said the person was hit on the tracks along Brittmore Road and Old Hempstead Highway at about 3:20 a.m.The person was taken to a hospital for treatment. The person's condition and identity were not released.Investigators have not said why the person was on the tracks.
