Motorcyclist Dies After Crash

HOUSTON -- A motorcyclist died after slamming into the back of a vehicle on the South Loop, KPRC Local 2 reported Monday.
Houston police said the wreck occurred in the 2900 block of the 610 South Loop East at about 10:45 p.m. Friday.
Investigators said a blue Suzuki motorcycle and a white Dodge Durango were traveling east on the South Loop when the driver of the Suzuki lost control and hit the back of the Dodge.
The 36-year-old driver died at the scene, officials said.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred.
