A teenager has been arrested in connection with a robbery in the garage of a Sugar Land home, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies said a 30-year-old man arrived at his home in the 15200 block of Newfield Bridge Lane shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday.

The man saw a white Ford Explorer pull into a driveway several houses down from his. He did not recognize it as belonging to his neighbor. He thought it was suspicious and he reported it to law enforcement.

Shortly after reporting it, the man was in his garage and was approached by two armed attackers who demanded his wallet, investigators said.

They left the area in the white Ford Explorer, officials said.

Detectives were able to positively identify one of the robbers as Larry Anthony Cheneau, 17. Cheneau was arrested Monday on a charge of aggravated robbery and was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail without bond.
