POSTED: Tuesday, November 17, 2009

A judge increased the bond for a man accused of plowing a stolen sport utility vehicle into two women, killing one of them, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

George Theobald, 39, is being held in lieu of $200,000 bond on a murder and aggravated assault charge.

Police said he ran over Brenda Romano, 56, and her 33-year-old daughter, Robyn Romano, after they confronted him about a minor accident in the parking lot of Meyerland Plaza Saturday afternoon

Brenda Romano died and Robyn Romano was seriously injured.
