George Theobald Charged With Murder, Aggravated Assault

HOUSTON -- A judge increased the bond for a man accused of plowing a stolen sport utility vehicle into two women, killing one of them, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.George Theobald, 39, is being held in lieu of $200,000 bond on a murder and aggravated assault charge.Police said he ran over Brenda Romano, 56, and her 33-year-old daughter, Robyn Romano, after they confronted him about a minor accident in the parking lot of Meyerland Plaza Saturday afternoonBrenda Romano died and Robyn Romano was seriously injured.Theobald was taken into custody early Sunday.
