Man Dies In Crash Near Sims Bayou

HOUSTON -- Houston police investigated a crash that killed one person, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.Police said the man was driving a red Pontiac G6 southbound along Cullen Boulevard in South Houston at 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday.They said he veered to the right, went off the road, and slammed into a concrete railing of a bridge over Sims Bayou.He was pronounced dead at the scene.The identity of the man is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.No other vehicles were involved.
