Hundreds of doses of the H1N1 vaccine will be available to high-risk residents in Galveston County on Monday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

The Galveston County Health District said it received 2,400 doses.

Approximately 1,600 will be given to children younger than 10 who received their first dose in October and are due for the second dose later this month.

The remaining 800 doses will be available, while supplies last, at the Galveston County Health District headquarters on Oak Street in La Marque next week.

High risk individuals include pregnant women and persons with asthma, heart disease or lung disease.
