Woman Charged In Park & Ride Burglary

Cynthia Lynn Brooks Charged With Burglary

A woman has been accused of breaking into a car at a METRO Park and Ride, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.

METRO police said surveillance cameras recorded Cynthia Lynn Brooks entering the Eastex Park and Ride lot on Monday.

Investigators said Brooks, 43, has admitted to ransacking a Mitsubishi Galant.

Brooks allegedly took several items from the car, including house keys, perfume, a phone charger, tennis shoes, a jacket, loose change and two purses. None of the items have been found, investigators said.

Brooks has been charged with burglary of a vehicle.
