Driver Killed In 1-Car Crash

Man Lost Control, Hit Guard Rail

HOUSTON -- A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in southeast Houston, KPRC Local 2 reported.

The accident happened on Cullen Boulevard near Airport Boulevard around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said the driver was going southbound on Cullen Boulevard when he lost control and slammed into a guard rail above Sims Bayou.

The driver was killed on impact. His name was not released.

Police believe speed was a factor in the accident.
