Houston Crime Stoppers and the South Houston Police Department are asking for the public's help looking for a man police say stabbed a man to death on his birthday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Victor Ayala, 24, is charged with murder, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

On Oct. 28, officers said Ayala got into an argument with Carlos Duron at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of South Allen Genoa. Investigators said during the argument, Ayala pulled out a knife and stabbed Duron in the back. Duron died at a local hospital, on his 29th birthday.

Ayala is a Honduran citizen and investigators believe he may be trying to flee back to his native country.

He is 6 feet tall and weights 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a light complexion and a medium build.

Anyone with information regarding Ayala's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
