Man Accused Of Killing Grandfather

Justin Wayne Parris Charged In Johnnie Gonzales-Morales' Death

A man has been arrested in connection with his 81-year-old grandfather's death, KPRC Local 2 reported Monday.

Houston police said relatives saw Justin Wayne Parris, 22, pacing outside of Johnnie Gonzales-Morales' home in the 900 block of Lamonte at about 4 p.m. Friday.

Someone went inside the home and found Gonzales-Morales' body covered with a blanket.

Detectives said Gonzales-Morales suffered severe head trauma.

Parris has been charged with murder. He was arrested at the scene without incident.
