HOUSTON -- Police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.

The Webster Police Department said that on Oct. 26, Anthony Jackson, 28, took the teen to a hotel on Bay Area Boulevard and held her there, forcing her to commit sexual acts by threatening to hurt her.

Investigators said it appeared as though Jackson was grooming her to be a prostitute.

She was eventually able to escape.

Jackson also posted nude photographs of the teen online in a classified section advertising escorts, police said.

Jackson was charged with sexual assault and promotion of child pornography. He is believed to still be in the Houston area.

Jackson is a black man, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of the assault, police said he had a thin beard.
