POSTED: Thursday, November 5, 2009

A composite sketch was released on Thursday of a man who killed a 28-year-old woman in her northeast Houston apartment, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Composite Sketch Of Murder Suspect

Iveth Leila Munoz was in her apartment in the 16000 block of Cotillion on Friday at about 12:30 p.m. when she answered a knock on her door.

Police said a man overpowered her and pushed his way inside.

A few hours later, a neighbor found Munoz's body when she went to check on her. The man had escaped.

The attacker is described as a 25- to 27-year-old Hispanic man, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He has some pock marks on his face and sun tattoo on his left elbow.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information in the case. Call 713-222-TIPS.
