Devarek Joseph Shot To Death

POSTED: Thursday, November 5, 2009
UPDATED: 10:17 am CST November 5, 2009

Police need help to find the people who shot a man to death in the parking lot of a southwest Houston apartment complex, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.

Houston police said Devarek Joseph met with two men outside a complex in the 2900 block of Crossview Drive at about 2:30 p.m. on June 24.

During the meeting, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot Joseph several times, officials said.

The men got away in a silver car with a black convertible top, which may have been an older-model Mitsubishi. They crashed the car into the exit gate at the complex, attempting to open it. The car sustained damage to the front right side.

Police said they do not have detailed descriptions of the men.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
