Fire Damages Mayor's Home

No One Home At Time Of Fire

Fire damaged the home of the mayor of Roman Forest, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 200 block of Chariot Lane shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Flames were shooting through the roof when officials arrived.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

The New Caney Fire Department responded and put out the blaze.

The cause is under investigation.

Damage estimates are not yet known.

No one was injured.
