UPDATED: 9:46 am CDT October 30, 2009

A man and a woman are wanted in connection with the use of fake checks, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.

Investigators said the pair has been using checks with fake names and addresses and the routing and account numbers belong to other people and companies.

The duo used the bogus checks at several stores on F.M. 1960 on July 31, including Sears, Lowe's, Burke's and Walmart.

Investigators said the only description they have of the pair is that they are both white.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
