Father, Son Accused Of Crimes

Father Wanted In Florida

POSTED: Wednesday, October 28, 2009
UPDATED: 5:35 pm CDT October 28, 2009

A father and son have been arrested, accused of several crimes, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

Harris County Precinct 6 officials said Alexander Quintanilla woke up Wednesday morning with a plan to rape women.

"I'm glad we got the suspect. I'm glad the witness took action," Harris County Precinct 6 Constable Victor Trevino said.

Deputies received a call at 9:30 a.m. from the leasing manager of an apartment complex at 905 Fair Oaks at Villa De Matel in East Houston.

The manager said she saw two men breaking into some cars at the complex.

When officials arrived, they found Quintanilla's 18-year-old son, Alexander Quintanilla Jr., on the property.

Deputies also found out the father had allegedly attempted to assault a woman at the complex, but she ran away.

The son told investigators that his father told him they were going to go out and find a woman to have sex with.

"He just started talking -- said, 'He was my dad. He came and picked me up and he said we're going to go do some stuff,'" Trevino said.

One block from the complex, Trevino said deputies found Quintanilla parked near a school, staring at the building. Officers found alcohol, cocaine and pornography inside the vehicle.

Quintanilla was intoxicated, Trevino said.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.

Quintanilla Jr. was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle.

The father is also wanted in Florida on a child abuse charge, officials said.

The District Attorney's Office said it would not charge Quintanilla with the attempted abduction because the woman escaped and was not injured.
