Sixteen units were damaged in an apartment fire in southeast Houston, KPRC Local 2 reported.

The fire started at the Sabo Village Apartments on Sabo Road and Fuqua Street around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The fire department said 16 apartments have either water or smoke damage.

The apartment did not have a common attic, which helped put out the fire.

No one was hurt.

The cause is now under investigation.
