HOUSTON -- A survey of Houston citizens released Monday revealed that drainage is the city service that people are most concerned about, KPRC Local 2 reported.
The 2009 City-Wide Citizen's Survey found that the police department was the second biggest concern.
More than 1,200 people were randomly selected to be surveyed by telephone and more than 4,000 people completed an online questionnaire.
"We found citizens are most satisfied with the fire department and least satisfied with streets, drainage and air quality," Houston City Controller Annise Parker said.
According to Parker, telephone participants were generally more satisfied with the city's services, its offerings and its overall services than Web participants.
The survey was conducted by Jefferson Wells International and Decision Information Resources Inc.
