Richmond police need your help finding a man they say snatched cash from the hands of an 84-year-old man at a local pharmacy, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

The robbery happened on Sunday, at approximately 9:15 a.m., at the Walgreens Pharmacy located in the 1600 block of Jackson in Richmond, Fort Bend County.

Investigators said the elderly victim was walking up to the register to pay when he was robbed. He had his money in his hand with his cane. He chased the man and saw him get into a small, older model, black pickup truck.

A sketch of the robber was released. He is described as a white male, late teens to early 20s. He is clean shaven and approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 140 to 150 pounds.

This case is being treated as a theft from a person and can be charged as a state jail felony.

If anyone has any information on this case or can identify the man in the photo, contact the Richmond Police Department at 281-342-2849.
