Worker Spilled Chlorine

HOUSTON -- Two people were sickened during a chemical spill at a hotel on Friday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Houston firefighters said a maintenance man at the Westin Galleria was putting chemicals in the pool on the hotels fifth floor at about 2 a.m.

The man started to feel sick and went to take a break. He spilled the chlorine near an elevator.

A guest smelled the chlorine and began feeling ill.

The worker and guest were treated at the scene.
