HOUSTON -- A pastor from Crosby has been accused of sexually abusing two boys who attended his church's school, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.
The Rev. Darrell Dean Dunn, 51, was arrested at his home and charged with indecency with a child and online solicitation of a minor.
Dunn is pastor of Living Praise Church and Academy, located at 14511 Woodforest Blvd. in Channelview.
Dunn is accused of fondling two male students, 14 and 15 years old.
"The info we got from the kids is this is not an isolated incident. They told us a number of different children -- that he would touch in different ways and would send pictures to, e-mails to, so we think there's lot of other kids out there," said Eric Devlin, a Harris County assistant district attorney.
The incidents allegedly happened at Dunn's house in Crosby where investigators said he often hosted sleepovers for male students.
Neighbors were awakened Thursday morning by police who converged on the house to arrest Dunn and collect evidence.
"It's kind of ironic. I've been here for three weeks and I've seen nothing but boys over there. I've seen his wife once," neighbor Junior Miranda said.
The boys also told detectives that they were shown photographs of other boys' genitalia on Dunn's cell phone.
Dunn is being held on a $60,000 bond.
The indecency with a child charge against Dunn carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison. Soliciting a minor is punishable by up to 10 years.
