HOUSTON -

Two men robbed a northwest Houston bank on Monday afternoon.

Houston police said the men, who were wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts, pointed a gun at people inside the Wells Fargo Bank on Long Point near Wirt about 1 p.m.

The men took an undisclosed amount of cash and jumped into a getaway car, investigators said.

Someone at the bank got a partial license plate number and the getaway car was found nearby with its engine still running, police said. Some loose cash was also found inside the car.

Detailed descriptions of the robbers have not been released.
