HOUSTON -

Police released composite sketches of two men wanted in connection with the sexual assaults of three women on several Sundays in southwest Houston.

Houston police said in all of the attacks, the armed suspect forced his victims at gunpoint into a vacant apartment where he sexually assaulted them. He fired a weapon into the air in one of the cases, officials said. A second suspect was present in at least two of the assaults, but police said he acted more like a lookout and did not assault the victims.

The victims were between the ages of 19 and 43.

"They're alone. A gun is pulled on them where the act occurs," said Ron Churchill with the Houston Police Department.

The attacks all happened on Sundays over the past three weeks.

Police said both suspects were described only as black males.  One is 17 to 21 years of age, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a small, but slightly muscular build.  He was believed to be armed with a revolver.  The other suspect is in his 20s, about 6 feet tall, with a medium to thick build.

Three composite sketches were released of the armed suspect and one was of the man dubbed the "lookout suspect."
