2 robbers pistol whip grocery store clerk in north Houston

Harris County Deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding two men who robbed and pistol-whipped a Bestop groceries store employee Monday morning.

Deputies said the robbery happened about 6:55 a.m. in the 11100 block of Aldine Westfield Road.

Surveillance video showed two men entering the store with weapons, deputies said. The men forced their way into an office area, deputies said. The two then demanded the clerk to open the drawer while beating him on the head several times with their weapons, deputies said.

Afterwards, they loaded the money into bags and fled the scene, deputies said.

The first robber is described as a black man as 20 to 25 years old, between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds.

The second robber is described as a black man as 20 to 25 years old, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds.

Crime Stoppers are offering an award up to $5,000 for information on the robbery.
