2 men sought in violent cell phone store robbery

Cops: 2 men get away with cash, cell phones

HUMBLE, Texas – Police are searching for two men who are wanted in connection with a violent robbery at a cellphone store.

The robbery happened around on Oct. 6 around noon at a Cricket store on Highway 59 near FM 1960 in Humble.

Investigators said two men posing as customers entered the store and approached a clerk who was standing behind the counter. Police said the crooks asked to look at some phones, and then one of the men went behind the counter, grabbed the female clerk by her hair and neck and forced her to open the register.

Investigators said the crooks got away with some cash and a couple of phones.

One of the suspects is described as a white man, 35 to 40-years-old, around 160 pounds with a slim build. He also had tattoos on both arms.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man, around 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and 40 to 45-years-old.
